The Walking Horse Owners’ Association would like to announce that the upcoming show Sunday, September 17 at the Tennessee State Fair in Nashville, TN will be changed from formal attire to casual attire (collared shirt, long pants and boots). Bobbikay Hein will judge the show. Class 15 was a duplicate class and now reads Classic Country Pleasure, Amateur, English or Western. In all WHOA shows “Youth 11 and Under” must wear an ASTM-SEI approved headgear (helmet) in all riding classes. This is a WHOA rule and safety requirement.

Also, this weekend’s show “Ride for Roses” is a Double Point Show in Dillsburg, PA. Jeff Daniels from Oxford, NC will judge the show. Next week the “Walking for the Future Classic” is scheduled for the Smoky Mountain Expo Center in White Pine, TN. This show is also a double point show for WHOA High Points. The show will be held Friday and Saturday, September 22-23, beginning each evening at 7 pm. Glenda Levin of Jamestown, TN will judge the show.
