Webb Receives Honor

Walking Horse owner and supporter, Senator Robin Webb was recently awarded the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation’s Brad Rowse Award for her work in the National Assembly of Sportsmen’s Caucuses. The organization was started a little more than 15 years ago. Brad Rowse was the 26 year old DC staffer that got Webb involved in the organization, and passed away in his sleep not long after their meeting. The award named in Brad’s honor is meaningful to the organization, as it is not given every year, and Webb considers it a precious honor.

What started with a few states in a meeting in Texas, now has an official presence in 48 states and works to preserve the cultural heritage of hunting, fishing, trapping, funding conservation and promoting the North American Model of Wildlife Management. The Senator was very moved by this recognition. She feels blessed to share the honor with so many friends that have enriched her life. Specifically she is thankful that her grandpa and her daddy shared their experiences of nature, sporting dogs, hunting, and fishing along with the values of each. The Scoop congratulates Senator Robin Webb on this award.
