TWHBEA Registration Proof Required for Entrance to Celebration Grounds

LEWISBURG, Tenn. – The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration recently announced that as part of its Veterinary Advisory Committee’s recommended protocols, TWHBEA registration papers must be presented for each horse in order to gain admittance into the show grounds. This applies to the National Celebration as well as the TWHBEA National Futurity.
Either an original-issued TWHBEA registration certificate, a copy of the original certificate, or a current print-out from TWHBEA’s on-line registry data-base program, IPEDs, will be accepted. All registration certificates must, however, reflect the proper owner of each entry.
Weanling entries that have applied for registration at TWHBEA, but have yet to receive parentage verification results from the lab, have not been issued original registration certificates. However, those weanlings have been assigned names and registration numbers by TWHBEA and will have a printable pedigree available on IPEDs with current owner reflected.
TWHBEA registry staff will be on-hand at the TWHBEA Satellite Office on the show grounds each day of the Futurity and Celebration. A full array of TWHBEA services can be conducted on site.
