Secretary of State Tre Hargett will attend the Tennessee Walking Horse National Museum on Friday, February 27, between 1:00 and 1:30 P.M. to present the Museum with a grant of $2,000. The grant monies will be used for the restoration, preservation and digitization of past films of the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration in Shelbyville.  As of this date, the oldest reel the Museum has is of the 1942 Celebration. The Museum has worked very hard to obtain the grant and the old reels of film from the Celebration.  Secretary Hargett requested that the Museum invite board members, volunteers, local media outlets and local and county officials to the presentation.
