Tragic Fire at Nance Stables

On September 5, 2017 Nance Stables, located at Crane Farms in Alabama, experienced a devastating barn fire. Trainer Keith Nance reported that 23 horses perished and almost all barn items were destroyed. Friends and fellow trainers have stepped up to help. A benefit auction will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Pleasant Valley Farms, 2395 Hwy 64E, in Shelbyville. Donations will be taken for lunch that begins at 12:30pm with the auction following at 1:30pm.

Anyone wishing to donate items for the auction or directly to the Nance Family can purchase those at Bedford Tack or The Winners Circle. A designated person will pick those up prior to the event. Monetary contributions can also be made. Checks should be paid to Keith Nance Benefit and mailed to Andy Davis at 108 East Grove Street, Greeneville, TN 37745 or to Dustin Smith at 333 Claypool Boyce Road, Alvaton, KY 42122.
