The Smoky Mountain Walking Horse Association announces they will be giving out a college scholarship of $500 to a qualified applicant. Candidate requirements are as follow:
1. High school Junior/Senior, or college student under the age of 24
2. Member of the Smoky Mountain or East Tennessee Walking Horse Associations for a year before the April 1 deadline
3. Demonstrate an interest in equine activities
