The Celebration hosted an Owners’ Meeting in the Blue Ribbon Circle club on the show grounds prior to the start of Saturday night performances of the Spring Fun Show on May 28, 2016 at 5:00 pm.

Representatives from the Leadership Council, as well as representatives from the industry’s lobbyists were on hand to provide an update to owners and answer any questions concerning the Walking Horse industry on the recent Rulemaking sent to the Office of Management and Budget by the USDA. Jeff Speaks stressed the importance of the industry sending comments regarding the Rulemaking and its effects on the show horse industry.

All parties involved in the industry will need to submit their comments during the comment period after the new rule is published.
