Mrs. Mariam Charlotte Earonhart, age 80 passed on this life on January 23, 2019 at NHC Oakwood.
A Cornersville native, Charlotte was born on May 19, 1938; the fifth child of the late Jimmie C. and Maize Endsley Pigg. Charlotte graduated from Cornersville High School. Charlotte married James Edward Earonhart and raised three daughters. Raising children was her passion, as was spending time with her grandchildren. Charlotte lead a simple life; working in school cafeterias as her girls moved through schools, working in local factories and providing personal care for home bound individuals. A lifelong dream to work in the field of nursing was accomplished late in life as Charlotte enjoyed ten years at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia as a certified nursing assistant – spoiling cardiac patients and all of their physicians.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie Earonhart Williams. She is survived by two daughters, Amelia (John) Haselden and Emily (Josh) Donnell both of Lewisburg, seven grandchildren, Marina Williams Hindman, Blake Darnell, Landon Darnell, Gavin Darnell, and Clara Donnell, John Scott Haselden (Maribeth), Jennifer Connie Haselden Copeland (Michael), six great grandchildren, Isley Kate Hindman, Bryce Haselden, Vivian Haselden, Smith Haselden, Apollo Copeland and Bodhi Copeland.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from the chapel of London Funeral Home. Burial followed in Short cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Activity Therapy Program at NHC Oakwood, 244 Oakwood Dr., Lewisburg, TN 37091. The Scoop sends our deepest sympathy to Amelia Haselden and the Earonhart Family.
