Obituary- Angie Bobo

Angelyn “Angie” Parsley Samples Bobo of Shelbyville passed away April 24, 2017. At the time of death, Ms. Bobo resided at NHC Health Care in Tullahoma, TN. Services were held Saturday, April 29, 2017 in the chapel of Doak-Howell Funeral Home.

Winnifred Angelyn Parsley Sample Bobo was born November 19, 1933 in Nashville, TN to parents James Bernice and Winnifred Lee Messick Parsley who precede her in death. Angie worked as co-owner/ secretary of Sample Implement Company, regional manager for Field Creations Cosmetics, fina china manager for Peebles Department Store and was a homemaker. She was an avid supporter of the Tennessee Walking Horse Industry and was of the Christian Faith.

Others preceding Ms. Bobo in death were husbands, N. Hugh Sample and Walking Horse trainer Charles A. “C.A.” Bobo; son, Robert Pate, Jr.; siblings, Betsy Parsley Bell, Earl Reich Parsley and Bobby Joe Parsley.

Survivors include a daughter, Cecelia Sample Andon of Murfreesboro and two grandchildren. The Scoop sends our warmest thoughts and condolences to Ms. Bobo’s family.
