LADY BOURBON D.M.

March, 16 1974 -  June 17, 2007

Lady Bourbon D.M., 33,  died peacefully at her home in Harrodsburg, Kentucky on June 17, 2007.  Lady "B" was born in 1974 in Shelbyville, Tennessee and bred by Roy Davis and Buddy Moore.  Purchased in 1987 by The Bud Elswick family for their daughter Kelley and trained by Keith Becknell, she won numerous blue ribbon titles.

Lady Bourbon was trained in her last show ring performances by Allen McQuerry. After retiring in 1988 to have babies, Lady Bourbon spent her last 20 years happily out to pasture with Kelley Elswick McQuerry Becknell and her son Matthew McQuerry watching over her.

She was buried June 18, 2007 under her favorite shade tree at her home. Lady "B" has been the first thing I see in the mornings and the last thing I see in the evenings for twenty years.  I hope to have given her as many happy years as she has given to me.

We love and will miss you always Bourbon.
Kelley and Matthew
