Charles Ray Baldwin, Jr., 41, a
resident of Ashford, went home
to be with the Lord Wednesday,
February 27, 2008.
Funeral services for Ray will be
held 10 am Saturday, March 1,
2008 at New Freedom Church in
Webb with Reverends Clint and
Larry Adams officiating. Burial
will follow at Crestlawn
Memorial Cemetery with Southern
Heritage directing. The family
will receive friends from 5 pm
until 8 pm Friday, February 29
at the funeral home.

Ray was born October 9, 1966 in
McMinnville, Tennessee and was
raised in Ashford. He was a 1984
graduate of Ashford High School
and a member of New Freedom
Church. Ray loved horses and was
a professional horse trainer. He
was on the Advisory Board for
the Walking Horse Trainers
Association and was a licensed
judge for walking horse
competitions. Ray lived life to
the fullest. He loved his family
and children and was there to
lend a helping hand to those in
need.
Ray is preceded in death by his
paternal grandparents, Cecil and
Catherine Baldwin; maternal
grandparents, Rayford Farless
and Edna Datsun.
Survivors include his wife, Kim
Parker Baldwin, Ashford; two
sons, Brandon and Brent Womack,
Ashford; three daughters,
Lindsey Baldwin, RaeLeigh
Baldwin, Michaela Tillery, all
of Ashford; father and step
