Two-time Reserve World Champion Walkin’ Dollar has passed away due to complications with colic. The beautiful roan gelding was owned and loved by the Bertram Family of Glasgow, Kentucky. Walkin’ Dollar was 10 years old.
He was started by Justin Jenne’ and Rico Bravo as a two-year old and was owned at that time by Sabrina Young of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. In 2014, the Bertram Family purchased him from Chad Adams. His career boasts 25 victories along with two Reserve World Championships at the 2015 and 2016 Celebration. Sherry Bonner was in the irons under the banner of Scotty Brooks Stables of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
The Bertram family and everyone at Scotty Brooks Stables will remember him always as he will deeply missed.
