It is with great sadness to report that 2005 World Grand Champion Main Power was humanely laid to rest. After a prolonged time dealing with a chronic leg issue, of which we had no resolution, Main Power’s quality of life was beginning to deteriorate to where we knew we had to let him go. It’s a sad day for all of us here at Rising Star Ranch, as well as, for all his fans who always showed their love for Main Power.

Main Power has been a “Main Stay” at Rising Star Ranch greeting visitors for the past 12 years. He will be sadly missed by those who have cared for him each day and his many visitors who would make special trips to see him. On behalf of Frank and Debbie Eichler and the staff of Rising Star Ranch, I want to thank all our veterinarians and farriers who helped us along the way, especially Dr. Krista Gilliam and Paul Morris. Our thanks also to those who were a part of Main Power’s life and allowed him to be a part of ours and yours.
