Terry and Dot Rider of Corinth, Mississippi have announced the passing of Reserve World Champion Arriba. Arriba was laid to rest on March 19, 2018. The beautiful gelding was sired by Ted Williams and his dam was Prides Silver Mist. He was foaled on March 14, 2009.

Arriba had a wonderful show career. He was the 2013 Reserve World Champion Amateur Owned & Trained Lite Shod Horse, and that same year was named WHOA’s High Point Lite Shod Horse of the Year. Titles and accolades followed him as he was awarded the 2015 & 2016 MSHA High Point Lite Shod Horse of the Year, as well as winning numerous International Grand Championships. In his short show career, Arriba accumulated over 75 blue ribbons.

The Riders were honored to train their beloved horse at Circle R Stables. This also became his final resting place on the big hill beside his good friend Gypsy Dancer. The Scoop sends our warmest condolences to the Rider Family and all of Arriba’s fans.
