WHOA
SHOWS GEAR UP TOWARD THE 2011
INTERNATIONAL!

Franklin, KY - June 24 The
first WHOA-KY Downs Show of the
2011 season was held at KY Downs
in Franklin, KY on June 24. The
honorable Peggy Moore of
Shelbyville, TN judged the 18
class event which was Kentucky
Breeders Incentive eligible. Thank
you to the Chip Carrier Family for
helping each year make these shows
possible. A total of 96 entries
made the gate call. Frankie Jo
Bradley and Teresa Owen worked the
entry table while Tommy Hall and
Mark Taylor managed center ring
duties with the assistance of
Donna Benefield as ribbon
presenter. This show was
affiliated with the International
HIO.
WHOA/KIWANIS SHOW -
June 25 The 2011
WHOA/Kiwanis Club Horse Show was
held at Womack Stables in
Murfreesboro, TN on June 25. A
total of 167 entries participated
in the event. Frankie Jo Bradley
of KY judged the show. Tommy Hall
announced the show while Sis
Osborne served as ringmaster and
ribbon presenter. Special thanks
to Womack Stables for allowing
WHOA to have shows at the
beautiful Glen Oaks Farm. Also
there are many volunteers that
help to make these shows possible
and WHOA appreciates you all! This
show was affiliated with the WHOA
HIO.
The
WHOA/Kiwanis Show had many classes
with 10 or more entries.
Brownsville, KY - July 2
The
Edmonson Co. Saddle Club
Fairgrounds hosted the WHOA
-Brownsville Show. Bryan Richert
of KY judged the show and had a
tough job with 176 entries that
participated in this Kentucky
Breeders Incentive eligible event.
Thank you to the Starnes Family
for always making everyone feel
welcome in Brownsville! Frankie Jo
Bradley, Sis Osborne, Mark Taylor,
Steve Brown, and Tommy Hall served
as show officials. This show was
affiliated with the International
HIO. The next KBIF WHOA show will
be held in Franklin, KY July 16.
Ken
Fieth won his first blue ribbon at
the WHOA Brownsville, KY show
aboard My Stormy Pride.
Some exhibitors made a
picnic and celebrated the July 4th
weekend at the Brownsville
show.
Dan
Starnes won the Adult Water Glass
division at Brownsville.
Wise Impact and Shelby
Finch won the first of 3 blues in
Brownsville for Wise Impact,
owned by the Vic Gernt Family.
Charlie
Howard was proud of his win with
Big City Jose.
The Stick
Horse Division was big in
Brownsville, KY!
Judge
Richert walks the line-up in a
tough Youth Class at Brownsville.
