  TREY BLACKBURN SURGERY

January 29, 2010

Well-known youth exhibitor, Trey Blackburn of Arab, AL, had surgery on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters in Norfolk, VA for a chest abnormality called Pectus Carinatum and a Morgagni hernia in his diaphragm.  The specialists there repaired both problems.

Trey’s mother, Amy Blackburn, says, “Trey is doing pretty well. His doctor and nurses are working on controlling his pain so that he will feel like moving about, eating, and breathing! He has been having problems breathing deeply due to the pain, which will make him susceptible to pneumonia if not corrected. Please continue your prayers for his recovery.”

Amy Blackburn is a correspondent for The Scoop.
