The 1984 Two Year Old World Grand Champion, Royal Seal, had to be put down due to a bacterial infection in his hind hoof.  The infection would not respond to medical attention causing his hoof to die from lack of circulation. 

Royal Seal will be deeply missed by Kathy and Patrick Malone who he has lived with since 1994.  Kathy said, “Seal did it all and taught me so much during my years in the show ring”.
