Woodford Equine Hospital in Versailles, KY holds a community forum and speaker series each month that focuses on the horse and equine industry topics. These forums are open to the general public and a light meal is provided before the discussion.

Two veterinarians will discuss the Horse Protection Program. From the USDA, Dr. Rachel Cesar, will discuss issues dealing with the welfare of the horse. Woodford Equine Hospital’s Dr. Alan Dorton, an equine practitioner of 20 years, will discuss his observations in the field and how the program affects the horse industry.
