The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration has announced a change in policy for the 2009 World Grand Championship class. All entries that do not show in the class will be refunded their entry fee.

The 71^st Annual Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration will culminate on Saturday, September 5, 2009 with the crowning of the World Grand Champion Tennessee Walking Horse. The entry fee for class 171 is $2,010. The deadline for all Saturday night championship classes is 12 Noon on Friday, September 4, 2009.

We understand the economic pressures and want to give as many horses the opportunity to compete as possible. We do our best to listen to our customers and accommodate as many of those requests as we can,” said Celebration CEO Dr. Doyle Meadows.
