"SPECIAL KIDS" BENEFITS FROM WHOA EVENTS

August 11, 2009

The Walking Horse Owners' Association hosted 2 events in 2009 to benefit Special Kids of Murfreesboro, TN. This organization offers day care to families with special needs children in the Middle Tennessee area. Special kids also has a therapeutic horse riding program called Hoof Beats For Special Kids.

In April of this year WHOA partnered with Montverde Academy to host a show in Lewisburg to benefit this great organization. This show was very successful with 171 entries.

In June WHOA partnered with PWHAT for the second year to host a show at Womack Stables in Murfreesboro. This show garnered 167 entries and benefited Special Kids-Hoof Beats Program.

WHOA would like to say thank you to Montverde Academy and PWHAT for being a part of these shows and others in the future that will benefit worthy charities such as Special Kids.
