           ERICA DERICKSON AND THAD WAY WED

Erica Derickson, daughter of Herbert and Jill Derickson of Wartrace, TN, and Thad Way, son of Jack Way of Shelbyville, TN, and Elizabeth Thornell of Tuscaloosa, AL were united in marriage on September 12, 2009 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Panama City, FL.  Pastor Tim Brooks, along with wife Terri, traveled from Hot Springs, AR to officiate the ceremony.  Grandparents of the bride are Dr. and Mrs. John Brundige of SugarGrove, IL and H. T. and Wilda Derickson of Stanton, KY.  Grandfather of the groom is Cary Findlay, Tuscaloosa, AL.

Maid of honor was the brides' twin sister, Maria Derickson.  Other bridesmaids were Candy Green, Jenna Hamilton, Lauren Hamilton, Jessica Day, Meg Callaway and Erica Jenne'.  Liza Robbins Thornell was the Jr. bridesmaid.  Flower girls were Counti Green, Mary Francis Way, and Caroline Wesley Way.

Jack Way served as his son’s best man.  Other groomsmen were the groom’s brothers, Winston and Alex Way, Drew Smithart, Jake Thornell, Chris Graves, and Bart Young.  The bride’s brothers, Thomas and Will Derickson, were the Jr. groomsman and the ring bearer. Soloists for the ceremony were the bride's cousin Shelley Skidmore of Nashville, TN and close friend Jessica Hall of Stanton, KY.

A beautiful reception followed at the Shrimp Boat Restaurant where everyone enjoyed delicious food and were entertained by the local band The Beach Mice.  Everyone who attended enjoyed a weekend of wedding festivities in beautiful Panama City Beach, Florida.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in San Francisco, CA and will reside in Panama City, FL.  Erica an MTSU graduate is employed at Neve's Advertising Agency and Thad is a Mississippi State graduate is employed with the Gulf Coast Charity Horse Show.
