The Bluegrass Pleasure
and Walking Horse
Association (BPWHA)
announced they will host
three Scar Rule Clinics
during November in
Kentucky. BPWHA welcomes
show horses of all
disciplines and breeds
to attend. BPWHA is
dedicated to showing
sound horses, both
pleasure and
performance, and have
arranged to hold three
scar rule clinics in
conjunction with the
Horse Protection
Commission (HPC) and the
USDA. We encourage all
owners and trainers to
bring their horses for
inspection with no risk.
The inspectors will not
take any information
about the horse or the
owner. No tickets will
be written! The clinics
are being held so that
horse owners and
trainers may come and
ask questions and get
information about the
scar rule for
educational purposes.
The
BPWHA is accepting
applications for
membership and for our
judges program.
Anyone
interested may go to
www.bpwha.com
and get an application
for judges or
membership.
Membership applications
accepted now will run
through December 31,
2010. Judges
applications must be
received by December 20,
2009 to be eligible for
testing for the 2010
judges list.
