Richard T. Hudgins has been named the Managing Editor of The Scoop Walking Horse Publication by owner, Jack G. Heffington, and Publisher, Jacquelyn Brantley.

Hudgins is well-known in the industry and has over 20 years of experience in the publishing of equine periodicals. His most recent position in the Walking Horse industry was Advertising Sales Manager for the Voice magazine from 2004-2007. Hudgins was the Director of Publications for Dabora, Inc., and served in many capacities for the Walking Horse Report, Saddle Horse Report and Horse World magazine from 1990 through 2001.

Currently, Hudgins is also the Managing Editor of the Show Ring Times, another equine periodical that Heffington and Hudgins launched in 2007 that covers the American Saddlebred industry.
