The Walking Horse Trainers’ Ladies’ Auxiliary is holding a membership drive designed to re-enlist former members from now until May 24.  According to the Auxiliary, this is the only time this offer will be made this year.

Those who sign up and want to show in 2008 must meet certain requirements. They must pay dues no later than May 24.  The fee will be $30, with checks made payable to the WHTA Auxiliary.  These can be mailed to Jaclyn Williams, 181 Eady Rd., Shelbyville, TN 37160.

They must also attend at least one meeting prior to showing.  These dates are May 24, Aug. 26 and Dec. 4. 

Finally, they must work at least one project prior to showing.  Mandy Black is the person to contact for a project at (859) 240-5518 or onepushywoman@juno.com.

The Auxiliary is an active force in the Walking Horse industry and looks forward to the coming season. It is hoped that this membership drive will be successful in bringing back former members who have dropped out along the way.
